Daniel Woodroffe has been selected to serve on the jury for the 2018 Annual ULI Hines Competition program at UT. Since 2002, the ULI Hines Student Competition has challenged students to collaborate across disciplines and imagine a better built environment. Groups of five students form teams to devise a development program for a real site in a North American city, providing designs, market-based financial data, and related narratives.
Last year, the “Rooted” team from the University of Texas team went on to win the National Grand Prize for their vision of a unique urban experience in Chicago, centered around food production and culture.
This year Toronto is the host city, with a challenge to develop a comprehensive development in an area near the mouth of the Don River.
