hp campus transformation

austin, texas

info

Part asset management – part transformation – part employee retention strategy – the design for Hewlett Packard’s Austin Headquarters revisions and underperforming and underutilized portions of the campus.

The signature moment of the project features a covered pavilion for large events, a variety of outdoor “rooms” with seating (and hammocks) for employees to gather and relax in the site’s existing grove of oak trees. Careful attention was given to lighting to ensure the project can be used 24/7. As a core principal of the project, the team carefully assessed, mapped, preserved and enhanced the significant trees on site – celebrating them as a core asset.
